David Bennett spoke Friday, April 26, 2024
David Bennett was once a brash young commercial diver and Chief Engineer of the Research Vessel Aloha. His harsh personal philosophy was, “You cut your swath through life to survive.” But one night, he was caught in a violent storm off the California coast, where he drowned. While technically “dead,” he met beings of light, relived his life, and peeked into his future, all resulting in a complete paradigm shift for him. Later in life, he discovered he had stage IV lung and bone cancer—so advanced that his spine collapsed. Miraculously, he survived once again. These brushes with death taught him even more about living, loving, and how to find purpose in his life.
David brings listeners to the heart of the near-death experience (NDE,) including his path-changing life review, being surrounded by love, the light, and meeting the Soul Family. He shows how to integrate the most traumatic of incidents into one’s spiritual path to live a more meaningful life.
David Bennett enjoys the retired life of a public speaker, author, white light energetic healer, and contemplative living podcaster. He’s had many appearances on radio and television, including on The Story of God with Morgan Freeman, Doctor Oz, Angels Among Us, NBC National News, and PBS. You can find more on his website, DharmaTalks.com, and podcasts on his YouTube Channel @DavesDharmaTalk.

See the light in others, Bridget Cook Burch, June 28

Bridget was adopted when she was six months old. She always felt unworthy and a little broken. Even growing up in an amazing home, that feeling of unworthiness made her overcompensate. She worked too many hours while attending college, and it began to wear on her body. Everything took an enormous toll. In her 20s, Bridget was rushed into emergency surgery and started on several intravenous antibiotics. While in the hospital, she had a near-death experience, in which Bridget was given instructions and spiritual knowledge about how to move forward with a changed life. The physical change was miraculous, but even more so, her mental and spiritual change. Bridget could see herself and everyone she came in contact with across the world from a place of love.
Trust your intuition and be protected, Stephanie Arnold by zoom July 26, 2024
When she was pregnant with her second child, Stephanie Arnold had a sudden and overwhelming premonition that she would die during the delivery. Though she tried to tell the medical team and her family what was going to happen, neither the doctors nor her loved ones gave her warnings credence. Finding no physical indications that anything was wrong, they attributed her foreboding to hormones and anxiety.
One member of the medical team did take her concerns seriously enough, and made the fateful decision to order extra units of blood “just in case.” Then, during the delivery, Stephanie suffered a rare Amniotic Fluid Embolism. She went into cardiac arrest and flat-lined for 37 seconds. She died. Using the supplementary blood, the medical team revived her, and she remained unconscious for more than six days.
After months of recovery, Stephanie began to remember details of her experience, details she knew because she had witnessed the entire dramatic event, including her death, from outside her body—beside other spirits that were with her. In this remarkable true story, Stephanie will share her NDE, and the spiritual insights she learned from it. We are not alone and have more loving help than we can imagine.
Her book, 37 Seconds, chronicles her story.

Instructed by Christ, Ralph Jensen NDE in person August 23, 2024
Posted on August 17, 2024 by IANDS Utah
Ralph Jensen passed beyond the veil after suffering a major heart attack. During his NDE he saw the life of Jesus.
Ralph learned how precious each of us are to Jesus and God. One miraculous aspect of Ralph’s experience is that the type of heart attack he had, is nearly always fatal.
Ralph wrote a book, Taught by Christ, about his NDE. Readers report it book has given new purpose to their lives, as well as greater personal self-worth and value. It has even stopped individuals from taking their own lives after making the effort to read it and understand their Savior and his healing power.

Searching for life’s inner meaning, Wendy Thorne, September 27, 2024
On February 7, 1994, Wendy Thorne was rushed into surgery with a fatal condition of peritonitis and had a profound near-death experience during her operation that totally changed her life. When she recovered, she began her brand-new path. She did not get to raise her children and instead she was taught by Native Americans. It was both her awakening and a very dark night of the soul, but very much a part of her spiritual progression so she could fulfill her divine destiny as was told to her on the “other side.” Wendy came back with the veil still partly opened and learned how to develop the gifts she had been given with the help of a “Spirit Caller” from the Native American Pueblo Tribe. When Wendy did get to see her children again, she was faced with the biggest challenge of her life. Wendy obtained a Doctorate Degree in Metaphysics and a degree in Parapsychology, because she wanted to know everything possible about the experience she had witnessed from the “other side.”
Wendy has worked in Hospice and as a Doula, helping many people cross over and has assisted families understand what actually takes place at the time of death. Wendy is currently the Coordinator for the State of Utah for Connecting Consciousness, a worldwide humanitarian organization.

Childhood wounds healed to help others.
Shawn had an extraordinarily near-death experience. He was an abused child who suffered from sleep apnea and prayed daily to leave this painful world. In his sleep one night he quit breathing and died. He was escorted through the streets of heaven and into a large building where he experienced a life review and met several biblical characters, including Moses, Abraham and Jesus – his advocate, as well as other divine beings, all of whom showed a genuine concern for his welfare. He was given the choice to stay in heaven or return. What he was shown of his future led him to risk everything to return. Shawn will share what keeps him here and what may help you through your troubled times as well.
Shawn has spoken to our group previously, but health issues have provided new journeys into the world beyond. You will learn more about what Jesus taught him regarding suicide, his reason for living and his motivation for his work today and more details of what awaits us.

More than 20 trips to the other side. Heather Vander Meyden November 2024
Heather’s life journey took a profound turn when she was hospitalized with complications from Severe Ulcerative Colitis, leading to a three-month stay in the ICU at the age of twenty and leaving her ravaged body weighing 79 pounds. Over three weeks, Heather experienced dozens of near-death experiences. After leaving her body, she watched her nurses resuscitate her when she became septic and developed ARDS following a third major emergency abdominal surgery. She spent time with deceased relatives on the Other Side and met her unborn children and God. She visited what she calls the healing waters and the building of knowledge and traveled through the dark tunnel with a guide. At the entrance of heaven, Heather was told it was not her time yet, and she had to go back. Heather returned to her body and began the remarkable journey of healing and resilience that included learning to walk and talk again. Her experience reshaped her perspective on life and erased her fear of death.
